My Miracle Workers.

When it comes to getting ready in the morning, my beauty routine doesn't get too complicated. I'm a pretty no-fuss girl when it comes to makeup (perhaps only makeup HA) but I wanted to share some of my favorite items with you; items I think REALLY work and are worth every penny! Over the past couple years I have become obsessed with anything by Philosophy or bareMinerals. I really hate the feeling of makeup and have found that the bareMinerals foundation achieves just what I want: great coverage with the barely there feel. WHOA, I need to take it easy there...I don't want to sound like an advertisement but I truly have found it works wonders for me! One thing I really do struggle with is eye makeup. I don't like to look overdone, especially during the day, but would like to experiment more with it. Any thoughts or suggestions on which eye shadows you think are great...like magic, perhaps?

it's so funny, whenever people talk about BareMinerals, it ALWAYS sounds like an advertisement - it's just great stuff! As for eyeshadow, I pretty much fail...but I do love using my blush (Nars in Orgasm) for eyeshadow, highlighting with a light gold in the inner corners and lids. The blush actually stays longer than my shadows.. weird how that works!

I keep hearing about this Nars blush in Orgasm... it must be great! I need to try it! Which highlighter do you use? I love the way it looks on people but can't seem to find one I like.

I love Bare Minerals. Such great stuff.

I recently purchased a peach colored eyeliner from Tarte for the inner rim of my eye. It's subtle but really makes a difference in brightening my eyes. I'm a low maintenance makeup girl as well, but I definitely didn't mind adding this (foolproof) step to my beauty routine.

Oh my gosh your blog is one juicy miracle! I've wanted to try that Purity Cleanser for as long as I can remember, and girls, you don't sound like one of those corny commercials (easy breezy beautiful:covergirl laaaa) BECAUSE the bare Minerals foundation does give you the "barely there feel" which is the best thing in the world. Hate those heavy foundations, blark.

oh you just rocked my world with this post. i have such a fondness for makeup recs from people that adore their own products, so thanks for the share. love the whole Philosophy line, you just can't beat their clever packaging.

you're so cute, i know what you mean about thinking you may sound like an ad when the passion for the product feeds the need to share, i do the same thing. but you don't, i like this informative post muches. ♥

I love that mascara. Works wonders for me because I have almost nothing in the way of lashes otherwise. If you're looking for a good quality, beautiful eyeshadow, I can't say enough good things about Kat Von D's eyeshadow palettes.

I live for eye shadow. It's pathetic, really. I'm actually working on trying to wear a more natural eye every day. However, you asked for magical eye make up. So here is my secret: Too Faced's Shadow Insurance. This is an eye primer than not only enhances the eye shadow itself but glues it to your eyelid, keeping it there, fresh and fine for no less than 18 hours. Absolutely no creasing, whatsoever. I find that with a solid eye primer, any eye shadow will look good. For hoity toity brands that make us feel especially pretty however, I do love Too Faced and Urban Decay.

Now I feel like an advertisement, haha. Hope you try this and love it as much as I do!
